Some easy hacks to make your period comfortable – do whatever you can alongside taking Period therapy.
1. Commit
- Most products (including Period therapy) work best if you start taking them the day before your period starts and the pain starts.

2. Sleep hygiene
- A hot water bottle or bag is a time-tested remedy for period pain; warm showers help too.
3. De-stimulate
- Have a lot of water through the day to help reduce pain & excessive bleeding.
- Also, watch your intake of coffee and alcohol – these may cause dehydration.

4. Time it right
- Avoid ‘junk food’ – high sugar, salt, and saturated fats compound the already raging inflammation in your body.
- Try to eat balanced, wholesome home-cooked meals.
5. Build tiredness
- Easy relaxing exercises can help. You may want to avoid intense workouts during your period.
- Lying in bed, clench, hold and release muscles in one part of your body at a time for a few seconds at a time – toes, feet, calves, thighs, buttocks, abdomen all the way up to the neck and head.
- If this is too much to do, curling does help too.
